As everyday experiences shift to digital-first platforms, physical mediums are fading. For a brand built on sensory nostalgia, this makes emotional connection harder to sustain unless nostalgia is transformed from something people watch into something they actively create.
My Approach
My approach was to return to the simplest form of childhood storytelling - drawing flipbooks on the backs of notebooks. By making the entire campaign hand-drawn and physical, This allowed Paperboat to not just talk about childhood memories, but make people relive them.
The Big Idea.

Collaboration
Paperboat can collaborate with illustrators and animators to create hand-drawn flipbooks inspired by their childhood memories. Together, these stories turn the campaign into a shared celebration of nostalgia, creativity, and hands-on storytelling.
